DISCLAIMER & HARDWARE WARNINGS
Last Updated: July 15, 2026
1. General Information Only
The information, software tools, sound frequency generators, and guides provided on the Fix My Speaker website (located at https://speakercleaner.net) are intended for general, educational, and quick DIY troubleshooting purposes only. Under no circumstances should these resources be treated as professional hardware diagnostics or certified manufacturer repair guides.
2. No Warranty or Liability
We provide the tone cleaner tool, visual waves, and text instructions on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis, without any warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
3. Speaker Membrane & Blown Coil Risk
Low-frequency resonance sweep cycles cause rapid mechanical displacements of the speaker cone. This displacement is safe for fully functioning device hardware under ordinary operating conditions. However:
- If the speaker membrane is already torn or worn out from years of heavy volume exposure, running low-pitch sine waves at 100% volume may expand existing tears, worsening audio crackling.
- If the speaker voice coil is overheated, running high-amplitude soundwaves continuously could push the speaker past its thermal limit, causing it to blow out completely.
- Never run the sound cleaner near your ears. High-volume acoustic tones can cause damage to hearing if placed directly against the ear canal.
4. Manufacturer Warranty Limitations
Running standard browser-based sound tones does not void device warranties. However, cleaning the speaker mesh with unauthorized materials (such as needles, pins, standard rubbing alcohol with high water content, or hot hairdryers) can damage physical protective seals. Such actions can void official manufacture warranties from Apple, Samsung, Google, or other device providers.
5. Professional Repair Advice
If your phone, laptop, or smart watch has been submerged in corrosive liquids (such as sea water, soapy dishwater, chlorine pool water, sodas, or juices), playing sound waves will not wash away mineral residue. In these circumstances:
- Turn off the device immediately.
- Rinse lightly with clean, demineralized water (if the device has a certified IP68 water resistance rating).
- Lay the device in front of a gentle fan or place it with desiccant packets (silica gel) inside an airtight box.
- If system glitches or display stripes occur, bring the device to an authorized repair specialist.
